About the Dick Mayo Sprint and Family Day Parade
To be held from,
Saturday 26th July
to Sunday 27th July, 2014.
For the last couple of years the Bristol Motor Club has organised a day for owners of sports & GT cars to join them here at Castle Combe Circuit for a family day out. The formula will be as before... aim to fill the paddock with a display of as many sports cars as they can. During the day there will be two on-track sessions where drivers can take friends and family members out on a few parade laps of the circuit. In 2013, the event will celebrate 50 years of the partnership between Ford Motor Co. and Eric Broadley of Lola Cars which lead t othe birth of the legendary GT40 in March 1963. This event is therefore being marked as a GT40 Tribute Day and the day will welcome owners of all ages and marques of sports and GT cars whether product, kit or replica.
