The Cornwall Vintage Vehicle Society
The 'Cornwall Vintage Vehicle Society' sometimes known as the CVVS exists to encourage interest in historic vehicles of all types on Cornwall's roads. We organise monthly road runs and rallies throughout the year, and take full part in rallies arranged by other organisations in Cornwall and Devon. We also hold social quarterly meetings, sometimes with speakers about cars or motoring! We have over 150 members not a large or impersonal club, but we do make the effort to be a friendly club. If you have an old vehicle, of any sort, then you will know how much you put into maintaining it and how valuable it is to have the support and advice of people with similar interests. Owning a vehicle is not essential to becoming a member but the enthusiasm from other members may cause you to catch the ownership bug.
Newquay Auto Club
Newquay Auto Club was born in 1914 with the name "Newquay Motorcycle and Light Car Club." It can claim to be the first car club in the West Country and apart from the war years has remained active to the present day. In 1954 the Club changed its name to the more suited Newquay Motor Club, as the motor cycles had long gone. Then another name change occurred in 1974 when, like many other clubs, it incorporated and became the present "Newquay Auto Club Ltd.".
The Cornwall Olde Car Club
The Cornwall Olde Car Club was established in 1961 by a small dedicated group of individuals whose love for the classic, antique and special interest vehicles has permeated continuously over the last forty-two years.
